The invention discloses an electric lifting shower rod which comprises an upper rod body, a lower rod body, a driving piece, a power source and a control unit. The upper rod body is provided with a spray head and provided with a first thread portion, the lower rod body is provided with a water supply channel for supplying water to the spray head and provided with a second thread portion matched with the first thread portion, the driving piece drives the first thread portion or the second thread portion to rotate so as to control lifting of the upper rod body, the power source provides power for the driving piece, the control unit comprises a detection module, and when the detection module detects that the upper rod body moves to the preset position, the control unit controls the power source to be closed. According to the scheme, the power source is arranged to control the driving piece, so that lifting of the shower rod is controlled, meanwhile, the control unit can control the powersource to automatically stop when the upper rod body moves to a preset position, electricity consumption is prevented, the power source is protected, the service life is prolonged, the structure is simple, and operation is convenient.
