According to the technical scheme, the novel electric power tower is characterized in that cross arm assemblies which are parallel to the ground and are symmetrically distributed are uniformly arranged on the outer wall of a tower body of the tower, wherein each cross arm assembly comprises a first cross arm rod and a second cross arm rod; the two ends of each first cross arm rod and the two ends of each second cross arm rod are hinged;the hinged ends of the first cross arm rods and the second cross arm rods are connected with connecting blocks through vertical rotating shafts; the sides, away from the first cross arm rods and thesecond cross arm rods, of the connecting blocks are fixedly connected to the side wall of the tower body of the tower; adjusting pieces for adjusting the angles between the first cross arm rods and the second cross arm rods are arranged on the first cross arm rods and the second cross arm rods; and wire hanging frames are arranged at the ends, away from the tower body of the tower, of the first cross arm rods and the second cross arm rods. The width of the electric power corridor is reduced, and the occupied area of the electric power corridor is saved.
