The invention discloses a convenient-to-install roof tent. The roof tent comprises a tent base, wherein a first support rod and second support rods are movably connected between the front side and therear side of the tent base by a rotating shaft; a tarpaulin is arranged between surfaces of the first support rod and the second support rods in a sleeving manner; the bottom of the left side of thetarpaulin is fixedly connected with the tent base; and limit boxes are movably connected with the right sides of the bottoms of the second support rods, the opposite sides of the two limit boxes are fixedly connected with the tent base, pull blocks are arranged on the opposite sides of the two limit boxes, and pull rods are fixedly connected with the sides, close to the limit boxes, of the pull blocks. The problem of inconvenience in installation of existing roof tents is solved by cooperative utilization of the tent base, the first support rod, the second support rods, the tarpaulin, the limit boxes, the pull blocks, the pull rods, limit plates, tension springs, clamping rods and first limit grooves; and the roof tent has the advantage that local installation is convenient, and the convenient-to-install roof tent is worth of popularizing.
