According to the invention, the magnesium oxide is excellent in surface and magnetic properties, the prepared slurry can enable the bottom layer of the surface of a steel coil to obtain good appearance quality, uniformity, plate shape and the like, the preparation method is economical and practical, zero waste discharge is achieved, and the problem of environmental and ecological pollution caused by a large amount of silicon steel magnesium oxide waste in the silicon steel production process can be solved.
