The invention relates to a sintering method of a light sintered shale brick. The method comprises the following steps: 1, taking 5-6 parts by weight of shale, 2-3 parts by weight of coal gangue, 3-4 parts by weight of an adhesive and the balance of water, and crushing the shale and the coal gangue in a crusher respectively; 2, stirring the shale and the coal gangue crushed in the step 1 through astirrer, and adding water and 3-4 parts of an adhesive during stirring to uniformly mix so as to obtain a prepared material; 3, conveying the prepared material mixed in the step 2 to a sedimentation tank through a conveyor, and carrying out sedimentation in the sedimentation tank for 5-7 hours; 4, conveying the settled material in the step 3 into a drying room, and drying; 5, conveying the material dried in the step 4 to a brick making machine through a conveyor, and pressing the material into a brick billet through the brick making machine; and 6, guiding the brick billet obtained in the step5 into a tunnel kiln, and sintering to obtain a sintered brick finished product.
