The lattice parameters of the ceramic are as follows: the chemical formula is LaFe<0.5>Co<0.5>O3 (LCFO), and the molecular weight is 244.29; the crystal system is an orthorhombic crystal system; the space group is pbnm; a is 5.521(9) angstroms; b is 5.530(0) angstroms; cis 7.812(7) angstroms; alpha=beta=gamma=90o; the volume is 238.5(69). The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing precursor powder of the LaFe<0.5>Co<0.5>O3 (LCFO), and preparingthe ceramic from the precursor powder. According to the method, the preparation temperature of the single-layer multiferroic ceramic is greatly reduced, the magnetic performance of the obtained ceramic sample is remarkably improved, the density is high, the microcosmic particle size is uniform, the technological process is simple and stable, the sintering temperature is low, the reaction period isshort, raw materials are non-toxic, and environmental coordination is better achieved.
