The viewing seawall with the wave dissipation function comprises a seawall body, wherein a viewing platform is arranged at the top of the seawall body; multiple wave dissipation cavities sunken towards the interior of the seawall body are formed in the wave facing side of the seawall body and arranged in a row in the extending direction of a coastline, wherein openings of the wave dissipation cavities are located in the wave facing side of the seawall body, the wave dissipation cavities extend from the wave facing side of the seawall body to the wave backing side of the seawall body, the inner wall of the bottom of each wave dissipation cavity is a slope inclined from bottom to top from the opening end of each wave dissipation cavity to the deep part, and multiple rows of wave dissipation blocks are mounted on the inner wallof the bottom of each wave dissipation cavity from the opening end close to each wave dissipation cavity to the deep part; and a wave dividing barrier used for separating waves is arranged between every two adjacent wave dissipation cavities, and the wave dividing barriers are arranged on the wave facing side of the seawall body and located below the viewing platform.
