The invention discloses a correction method for a leaning tower. The method comprises the following steps that firstly, a reinforcement structure is additionally mounted outside a tower body and a base to achieve overall reinforcement; secondly, a leaning strut is additionally mounted on the leaning side of the leaning tower; thirdly, the land around the position, on the reverse side of the leaning side of the tower body, of the base is excavated; fourthly, the position, below the base, of the tower body, the leaning side of the tower body and the reverse side of the leaning side of the towerbody are excavated to form two work tunnels; fifthly, multiple warped rods penetrate to the other work tunnel from one work tunnel; sixthly, the multiple warped rods are connected through connecting rods and are connected through the reinforcement structure into a whole; seventhly, a jack is arranged in each of the two work tunnels, and the two jacks act on the two sides of the warped rods; and eighthly, the corrected tower body is subjected to foundation solidifying. The correction method has the advantages that the scheme of correcting the middle lower portion of the tower body is adopted, on the basis of the original reinforcement structure, the underground warped rod correction scheme is adopted, and the leaning tower can be corrected.
