The invention provides a dry hanging type ganged brick curtain wall system. The system comprises multiple lapped bricks and multiple dry hanging units; the multiple evenly-arranged lapped bricks are detachably mounted on the wall surface; one dry hanging unit is connected among every four adjacent lapped bricks; each dry hanging unit comprises at least five hung bricks connected with one another;four first fixing parts are arranged on each lapped brick; each dry hanging unit is provided with four second fixing parts; and the second fixing parts are fixedly connected to the first fixing parts.The invention further provides a mounting method of a dry hanging type ganged brick curtain wall. Compared with the prior art, the system has the advantages that the ganged brick curtain wall decoration effect is completed by the aid of the special processing and dry hanging manners, and special processing specifically refers to special sizes of ganged bricks and soaking treatment of the ganged bricks in an organic silicon solution and a stone reinforcing agent.
