The invention relates to a mounting and locating device of dry hanging stone of a curtain wall and a mounting and locating construction method. The device comprises a bottom plate, a mounting rack, amaterial containing mechanism, a pushing mechanism and moving mechanisms. The mounting rack is mounted at the upper end of the bottom plate. The material containing mechanism is mounted on the side wall of the mounting rack. The side wall of the material containing mechanism is connected with the side wall of the pushing mechanism. The moving mechanisms are arranged on the left side and the rightside of the material containing mechanism and are mounted on the bottom plate. Each mounting plate is of a structure capable of stretching and contracting up and down. The material containing mechanism comprises a fence rack, limiting plates, partition plates, a conveying branch chain, a first mounting plate and a second mounting plate. The pushing mechanism comprises a drive motor, a drive cam, adrive rod, a pushing rod, an auxiliary branch chain and a fixed ring. Through the material containing mechanism, the dry hanging stone is temporarily stored so that workers can conveniently take thestone in the mounting process, the pushing mechanism is used for pushing multiple pieces of stone at the same time, the stone does not need to be located one by one, and the work efficiency is saved.
