The invention discloses a ventilation system for glass sliding windows. The ventilation system comprises a housing and a sliding window, wherein the housing is installed on the inner side of the sliding window; a filter is installed in the housing; a reciprocating screw is in rotational connection in the housing by two first bearings; the screw wall at the end, close to the sliding window, of thereciprocating screw is fixedly connected with a driven bevel gear in a sleeving manner; a rotating rod is arranged in the housing and rotatably connected with the housing wall at the upper end of thehousing through a second bearing; the end, located in the housing, of the rotating rod is fixedly connected with a driving bevel gear; the main driving bevel gear meshes with the driven bevel gear; the end, away from the filter, of the rotating rod passes through the second bearing and extends outwards, and fan blades are symmetrically and fixedly connected on the rod wall. For the ventilation system, wind energy is used as a power source to clean dust in the housing, energy is saved, and dust cleaning is facilitated.
