The invention discloses a preparation method of a dry-press anisotropic ferrite environment-friendly magnetic powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, dissolving polyvinylalcohol in water to form a mixture; step 2, heating the mixture to 90 DEG C-105 DEG C; step 3, mixing the polyvinyl alcohol solution heated in the step 2 with ferrite powder to form a mixed material,wherein the weight ratio of polyvinyl alcohol to ferrite powder is 1: (3-8); and step 4, granulating the mixed material to form granules. The preparation method has the following advantages: the manufacturing cost is saved, and the environment-friendly characteristic is improved.
