The invention discloses a water-saving toilet. The water-saving toilet comprises a toilet, a water tank and a hand washing sink, wherein the toilet is in communication with the water tank, the top ofthe water tank is connected with the hand washing sink through a flexible pipe channel, a water flushing button is arranged at the top of the water tank, an LED indicator lamp is arranged on the frontsurface of the water tank, and a standby water tank and an active water tank are arranged inside the water tank, the standby water tank and the active water tank are connected with a water pipe, wherein the water pipe of the active water tank penetrates through the flexible pipe channel and extends to position above the hand washing sink and is provided with a water flow switch, and the standby water tank penetrates through the flexible pipe channel through the water pipe and then is in communication with the hand washing sink, tap water of the water pipe of the active water tank is used forwashing hand, and the washed hand water flows into the standby water tank passing through the hand washing sink to be stored. The active water tank is a common water tank and can be used as usual, moreover, a sensor is arranged inside the standby water tank, the sensor senses that the standby water tank is full of water and then enables the LED indicator lamp to light up a green light to remind that the water in the standby water tank can be used, and therefore the purpose of saving water resources is achieved.
