The invention relates to the technical field of building decoration, and relates to a green and environment-friendly building decoration material, which comprises the following components in parts bymass: 25-30 parts of Portland cement; 20 to 25 parts of water; 20 to 30 parts of waste concrete particles; 50 to 60 parts of coarse aggregate; 30 to 35 parts of fine aggregate; 3-5 parts of acrylic resin; 0.5 to 1 part of karaya gum; and 0.1 to 0.3 part of methyl chlorogenic acid ester. A preparation method of the green and environment-friendly building decoration material comprises the followingsteps: S1, mixing Portland cement, water and 1/2 of waste concrete particles to form a primary mixture; S2, mixing the coarse aggregate, the fine aggregate and the remaining 1/2 amount of waste concrete particles to form a stone material; S3, adding the stone material and the remaining components into the primary mixture, and uniformly stirring to obtain the environment-friendly building decoration material. The method has the effect of improving the utilization rate of the waste concrete so as to enhance the green and environment-friendly performance of the building decoration material.
