The invention provides a curtain wall and a construction method thereof, and belongs to the field of building curtain walls. The curtain wall and the construction method thereof solve the problem of poor stability after connection of existing curtain walls with a positioning function. The curtain wall comprises rectangular platelike panels which are fixed to a wall through connecting devices; theupper side face of each panel is of a slope structure; each connecting device comprises two sets of front connectors which are fixed to the inner side face of the corresponding panel and have the sameshape, and two sets of rear connectors which are fixed to the wall and matched with the two sets of front connectors respectively and have the same shape; and each connecting device further comprisestwo sets of pull handles, wherein the two sets of front connectors are connected through the two sets of pull handles to form a linkage structure. The connecting devices of the curtain wall can rapidly position the panels to the wall; after connection, the connecting devices have a stable structure; besides, the construction process is very safe; and the structure is reasonable and ingenious.
