The invention relates to a building template corner edge joint slurry leakage preventing device and a use method thereof. The slurry leakage preventing device comprises two sealing plates and a fixedmechanism, wherein first sides of the two sealing plates are abutted against each other; the fixed mechanism comprises a fixed screw rod, a tight nut and two supporting rods; the first end of the fixed screw rod is rotatably connected to a position, near the first side, on a second surface of one of the sealing plates; the tight nut is in threaded connection to the fixed screw rod; first ends of the two supporting rods are rotatably connected to positions, near the second sides, on the second surfaces of the two sealing plates respectively; and the second ends of the two supporting rods are insliding connection to the fixed screw rod, and are positioned between the first end of the fixed screw rods and the tight nut. The building template corner edge joint slurry leakage preventing deviceprovided by the invention is simple in structure and convenient to assemble and disassemble, can be reused and can block the corner edge joints of the building template conveniently and effectively so as to prevent slurry leakage at the corner edge joints of the building template.
