The invention discloses coating and a painting method thereof. The coating comprises the following components in parts by mass: 80-120 parts of acrylic emulsion, 110-140 parts of nano hollow microspheres, 6-12 parts of a dispersing agent, 6-12 parts of an anti-aging agent, 8-16 parts of a curing agent and 4-8 parts of titanium dioxide. The method comprises the following steps: S1, confirming a construction environment; S2, carrying out earlier-stage processing on a to-be-brushed object; S3, stirring the coating; S4, checking the surface temperature of the to-be-brushed object; S5, brushing theto-be-brushed object with the coating; S6, curing. The main component of the coating is nano hollow microspheres; due to the fact that the hollow ceramic microspheres are lighter than a coating solution, more heat preservation is achieved; titanium dioxide is doped, so that the heat insulation coating which is good in heat insulation performance, good in weather resistance and acid resistance, high in curing speed and good in constructability is obtained, and it is guaranteed that the heat insulation performance of the coating can be brought into play to the optimal state through the layeredand separated curing brushing process.
