The invention provides a stair railing with lamps. The LED illumination lamps are arranged on handrails of the stair railing. When we need to go upstairs at night, we can make some sounds, and therefore voice operated switches on the stair railing can trigger the LED lamps to emit light for illumination, we can see very clearly when going upstairs, and falling is avoided.
