The building outer wall waterproof structure comprises a crack-resistantlayer, a waterproof layer and a hydrophobic layer, wherein the crack-resistant layer covers the outer side of the main body of a building outer wall; the waterproof layer is attached to the outer side of the crack-resistant layer; and the hydrophobic layer is arranged at the outer side of the waterproof layer. The invention provides a construction method of the building outer wall waterproof structure. The construction method comprises the following steps of: step 100. after completing the construction of the building main body, laying the crack-resistant layer at the outer side of the main body outer wall, to be specific, firstly applying the first pass mortar, then sticking a woven polyester fabric on the surface of the first pass mortar, and finally applying the second pass mortar; step 200. after completing the crack-resistant layer, performing natural air drying for no less than 30 hours, and then applying the waterproof layer outside the crack-resistant layer; and step 300. after completing the waterproof layer, performing natural air drying for no less than 48 hours, and then spraying the hydrophobic layer outside the waterproof layer. The building outer wall waterproof structure and the construction method thereof improve the effectiveness and long residual action of water resistance of the building outer wall through the three-layer structure and construction thereof.
