The invention discloses a storable covering type building outer wall plant system which comprises a wall body and a window, wherein a pair of front installing plates and a pair of rope through holes are arranged at two sides of the upper end of the outer side wall of the wall body; a front suspension shaft is arranged between the two front installing plates; a pair of front position limiting guidewheels are rotationally arranged on the front suspension shaft; two hanging ropes positioned behind the wall penetrate through the rope through holes and are abutted against the front position limiting guide wheels; the lower ends of the hanging ropes are connected with a plurality of planting seats; a plurality of planting grooves and a water inlet groove are formed in the top surface of each planting seat; communicating water through holes are formed among the water inlet groove and the plurality of planting grooves; and every two adjacent planting seats are connected with each other through a connecting rope. The storable covering type building outer wall plant system has the advantages that the storable covering type building outer wall plant system is arranged on a wall body of a building; the coverage range of greening plants on the building can be adjusted at any time in a simple rolling wheel storage mode; the management is convenient; the urban space is effectively saved; meanwhile, the living experience of a user is not affected; and the effect is good.
