The invention relates to high and steep slope vegetations and a planting method thereof, belongs to the technical field of ecological remediation for high and steep slopes, and mainly aims to solve the problems of ecological remediation and construction of instable slag stone pile regions formed due to mechanical excavation in the prior art. The high and steep slope vegetations comprise planting soil, arbors, seed-nutriment-soil sacks, and bushes. The high and steep slope vegetations are characterized by further comprising straw seedling raising rods, wherein the straw seedling raising rods are rod and seedling integrated substances on which bush branches and bush root systems grow by an intensification seedling raising manner of the straw seedling raising rods; the seed-nutriment-soil sacks are built in a joint staggered manner along the high and steep slopes, a certain distance is reserved between the seed-nutriment-soil sacks and the high and steep slopes to be used for stuffing ofthe planting soil, 8-12 layers of the seed-nutriment-soil sacks are built and form the shape of steps along the slopes, a certain gap is reserved between sacks of each layer of the seed-nutriment-soilsacks, the planting soil is stuffed in the gaps, and the straw seedling raising rods are buried in the gaps between the sacks; the arbors can be planted on each step formed by the seed-nutriment-soilsacks; and the arbors are subjected to field planting in advance with straw seedling raising earthen bowls.
