An access control assisting device comprises an action box and an action groove which is formed in the front end face of the action box and extends backwards. A main door device and an auxiliary doordevice are arranged in the action groove. The main door device comprises main door rotating shafts which are rotationally matched with each other and arranged on the top end wall of the action groovein a left-right symmetry mode. Main door fixing blocks are fixedly arranged on the main door rotating shafts in a vertical symmetry mode, and a main door panel is fixedly arranged on the rear end faces of the main door fixing blocks. The auxiliary door device is designed on the basis of a security door, an auxiliary door can be opened according to identity cards when a main door is impassable, andthe device is provided with a manual device when both the main door and the auxiliary door mechanism cannot be opened to ensure normal passing of people. The device is safe and reliable in design andhas a plurality of opening modes for ensuring smooth passing of users, and therefore contradictions between property managers and owners are reduced.
