Provided are a drainage structure of a bathroom unit and a construction method thereof that can easily achieve a modular bathroom without raising a bathroom floor. The drainage structure 6 of the bathroom unit 1 comprises a drain trap adapter 61 that has an adapter pipe 610 formed into a cylinder and an external flange 611 that extends in the horizontal direction from the outer circumferential face on the top of the adapter pipe 610, and a drain trap cover 63 that is disposed on top of the drain trap adapter 61. The drain trap adapter 61 is connected to the top end of a drainage outlet side drain pipe 11 in a state in which the adapter pipe 610 is inserted into a drainage outlet 21 in the floor 20, and the external flange 611 is fixed to the top side of the floor 20.
