The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, and relates to mortar containing recycled aggregate. The mortar comprises the following components by mass: 15-20 parts of water; 20to 30 parts of Portland cement; 30 to 40 parts of recycled aggregate; 60 to 80 parts of natural aggregate; 15 to 20 parts of nano calcium carbonate; 10 to 15 parts of silica fume; and 1-3 parts of zirconium naphthenate. The invention also relates to a preparation method of the mortar containing recycled aggregate. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) pretreatment of recycledaggregate: uniformly mixing recycled aggregate, nano calcium carbonate, silica fume and zirconium naphthenate to obtain a premix; and (2) mixing: sequentially adding Portland cement, water, the premixand natural aggregate into a reaction container, and uniformly stirring and mixing to obtain the mortar containing recycled aggregate. The recycled aggregate does not influence the compression strength and rupture strength after the mortar cures.
