The intelligent protective floor drain comprises a central control system, at least one home equipment terminal, at least one user control terminal and at least one environmental detection terminal, each home equipment terminal, user control terminal and environmental detection terminal are connectedwith the central control system in a wired or wireless communication mode; a floor drain plugging unit is further included, and includes a driving unit and a floor drain plugging piece driven by thedriving unit; and the central control system controls the driving unit to drive the floor drain plugging piece to block a floor drain pipeline when the central control system judges that no one in a room exceeds the preset time. The intelligent protective floor drain embedded in the existing floor drain actively control the floor drain plugging piece by the central control system of the Internet of Things, so that on the one hand, the Internet of Things is more accurate in judging the indoor unmanned situation, on the other hand, actively controlling can be carried out, sealing is carried outwithout evaporation of a liquid seal, and the retrograde of odor, insects, mouses and the like can be completely prevented.
