The invention provides an installation structure of putty free gypsum board connecting pieces. The installation structure includes a plurality of gypsum boards and connecting pieces. Adjacent gypsum boards are fixedly connected through the connecting pieces. Each connecting piece includes a first connecting unit and a second connecting unit, wherein the first connecting units and the second connecting units are of a symmetrical structure, each first connecting unit is fixedly connected to one gypsum board through at least two first screws, the first connecting units include first fixed platesand first splicing plates, the first fixed plates and the first splicing plates form first step surfaces, each second connecting unit is fixedly connected to the adjacent gypsum board through at leasttwo second screws, the second connecting units include second fixed plates and second splicing plates, the second fixed plates and the second splicing plates form second step surfaces, and the firstsplicing plates are spliced onto the second splicing plates. The invention further provides an installation method of the putty free gypsum board connecting pieces. Compared with the prior art, according to the installation structure, the problem of uneven joint position of the gypsum boards can be effectively solved.
