The invention discloses a preparation method of a microwave dielectric ceramic material and a dielectric ceramic block. The method for preparing the microwave dielectric ceramic comprises the following steps of: providing raw materials corresponding to zinc oxide, silicon dioxide and magnesium oxide; adding an organic solvent and grinding balls, and carrying out primary ball milling; drying the slurry obtained by the primary ball milling, and calcining to obtain a ceramic body; crushing the ceramic body, adding an organic solvent and grinding balls, and carrying out secondary ball milling; drying the slurry obtained by the secondary ball milling; mixing the obtained powder with a binder to form slurry, and granulating; carrying out dry pressing molding in a mold; and removing the binder and sintering again. The microwave dielectric ceramic prepared by the method is mainly composed of zinc oxide, silicon dioxide and magnesium oxide, and has the advantages of low dielectric constant, lowloss and near-zero temperature coefficient. Therefore, the microwave dielectric ceramic material provided by the invention has improved microwave dielectric properties.
