The invention belongs to the technical field of civil engineering construction and relates to a prefabricated pier body and a mounting method thereof. The prefabricated pier body comprises prefabricated sections and a profile steel framework; the prefabricated pier body comprises a bottom section pier body, a plurality of section pier bodies and a top section pier body; one end of the section steel framework is connected with a bearing platform; the other end of the profile steel framework extends in a first direction; the bottom section pier body, the multiple section pier bodies and the topsection pier body are sequentially stacked on the bearing platform and connected with the profile steel framework; the profile steel framework serves as a bending-resistant component of the prefabricated pier body, meanwhile, the profile steel framework also serves as an auxiliary part to complete the installation and connection of the bottom section pier body, the section pier bodies and the topsection pier body; and therefore, the installation precision of the prefabricated pier body is improved. Therefore, when the prefabricated pier body is installed, the multiple prefabricated sections can be hoisted to preset installation positions section by section and sequentially stacked together from bottom to top, and the prefabricated pier body is more convenient to install.
