The invention discloses a dielectric filter, communication equipment, a dielectric resonator and a preparation method. The dielectric resonator comprises: a dielectric body; a metal layer which coversthe surface of the dielectric body; and a tuning assembly, wherein the dielectric body is provided with a blind hole, the tuning assembly is arranged in the blind hole and used for adjusting parameters of the dielectric resonator, and materials of the dielectric resonator at least comprise magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. In this way, the effective size of the dielectric resonator can be reduced, and meanwhile the resonant frequency of the dielectric resonator can be adjusted; and moreover, the dielectric resonator provided by the embodiment of the invention has improved microwave dielectric properties.
