The invention discloses a rail carrier comprising a frame, a handle, electric jacks and bearing tables. The frame is a U-shaped frame formed by sequentially connecting a first transverse supporting strip, a second transverse supporting strip and a third transverse supporting strip end to end. The lower end of the handle is installed on the frame, a plurality of universal wheels are installed at the bottom of the frame, the two electric jacks are installed on the first supporting strip and the third supporting strip respectively, and the two bearing tables are installed on the two electric jacks respectively. According to the rail carrier, the U-shaped frame is adopted and can be inserted into the gap between sleepers from the side face of a rail and located below a steel rail. And the electric jacks are adopted as power mechanisms for lifting and lowering the steel rail; the operation is easy, time and labor are saved, and great convenience and high efficiency are achieved; movement inany direction can be achieved through the universal wheels; and the steel rail of the rail can be conveniently carried according to actual construction needs of tunnels and the like.
