The invention discloses an air water making device for desert areas. The air water making device comprises a first water making unit and a refrigerant circulation unit, the air water making device further comprises a second water making unit, and the first water making unit, the refrigerant circulation unit and the second water making unit are connected through pipelines. According to the air water making device, the second water making unit is arranged to be matched with the first water making unit and the refrigerant circulation unit, so that a high-temperature refrigerant and dry cold air generated while liquid water is generated by an evaporation unit can be utilized; the high-temperature refrigerant generates high-temperature wet air and a lower-temperature refrigerant through heat exchange with external air in a condensing unit, the electric quantity required by an expansion valve to cool the refrigerant is reduced, the high-temperature wet air and the dry cold air can be subjected to heat exchange again in an air-air heat exchanger to generate the liquid water, and the energy utilization rate of the device is greatly improved; and meanwhile, the problem of difficulty in making water in an extreme environment is solved through secondary condensation.
