The invention discloses an expansion type corner brace. A corner brace body is included and comprises a first connecting part and a second connecting part for connecting sectional materials. The firstconnecting part comprises a first fixing block, a first supporting block and a first expansion block. One end of the first supporting block is fixed to the first fixing block, and the other end of the first supporting block is suspended. One end of the first expansion block is fixed to the first fixing block, and the other end of the first expansion block is suspended. The first supporting blockis provided with a first threaded hole, and the axis of the first threaded hole points at the first expansion block. The expansion type corner brace is provided and is simple in structure; and the sectional materials are connected through expansion, damage to sectional material thin walls from bolts is avoided, and connection is more reliable and stable.
