The invention provides a snow sweeper and a gardening tool. The snow sweeper comprises a power system, a handrail arranged on the rear side of the power system, a self-walking system and a main knifesystem, wherein the power system comprises a motor, the self-propelled system and the main knife system use the same motor as a driving source, the self-propelled system is connected with the motor through a first transmission device, the main knife system is connected with the motor through a second transmission device, and the first transmission device and the second transmission device are independent of each other so as to respectively control the corresponding self-propelled system and the main knife system to be started or stopped. The snow sweeper is advantaged in that compared with theprior art, the output power and the output torque of the main knife system and the self-propelled system can be maximized while the total power is not increased.
