The invention discloses a glass curtain wall with a novel frame. The glass curtain wall with the novel frame comprises a latticed frame built by upright posts and crossbeams, glass is installed in lattices of the frame in an embedded mode, the upright posts and the crossbeams are spliced and combined by cross fixing frames; and the cross fixing frames are provided with vertical arms and cross arms, the vertical arms and the cross arms are connected with the corresponding upright posts and the crossbeams separately, and the vertical arms and the cross arms are butted and fastened with the upright posts and the crossbeams through connecting fasteners. The upright posts and the crossbeams are connected through the cross fixing frames, so that welding is avoided, frame construction is simple,when the upright posts and the crossbeams are connected through the cross fixing frames, the upright posts and the crossbeams can be made into multiple sections with a standard size, and assembly andtransportation are more convenient; and on the other hand, the glass curtain wall connected by the structure is flexible in layout and convenient in installation, and the use quantity of the upright posts and the crossbeams can be adjusted according to various environments to complete the assembly of the glass curtain wall.
