The protective fence comprises supporting devices and a transverse connecting rod, the transverse connecting rod is arranged between the two supporting devices, the supporting devices comprise fixed bases, first fixing sleeves and first supporting rods, the bottoms of the first supporting rods are arranged at the tops of second fixing sleeves in a penetrating mode, the second fixing sleeves are arranged at the tops of the first fixing sleeves in a penetrating mode, the second fixing sleeves and the first fixing sleeves aremutually connected in a threaded connection mode, thus the protective fence can be directly placed on the road surface under the supporting effect of the fixed base without being fixed by fastening bolts, damage to the road surface is avoided, bent parts are arranged at the tops of second fixing rings in the mode of horizontally facing the outer side, first fixing rings are arranged at the bottoms of the first supporting rods, first grooves are formed in the inner walls of the second fixing sleeves, the first fixing rings are clamped into the first grooves, the bent parts are twisted so thatthe heights off the first supporting rods can be conveniently adjusted, and convenience of height adjusting of the protective fence is improved.
