The invention discloses a multi-mode device for draining water on rainy days or sprinkling water on sunny days of roads. The multi-mode device comprises a road surface, a rack and a water storage device, wherein one side of the rack communicates with the road surface; the water storage device is installed on the side, away from the road surface, of the rack; a communicating box is fixedly installed at the top of the rack; one side of the communicating box communicates with the water storage device through a second connecting hole; multiple rows of pipelines are installed at the bottom of the road surface at equal intervals; and the ends, away from the road surface, of the multiple rows of pipelines communicate with the communicating box through first connecting holes. Rainwater in the water storage device is sprayed through cooperation of a piston mechanism, so that the temperature of the road surface is reduced, the road surface is cooled through collection of the rainwater, resourcesare reasonably utilized, the device is used in a mechanical mode, and manpower is saved.
