The invention discloses a horizontal-storey home-entry channel and home-entry methods for an added elevator of a multi-storey residential building. The horizontal-storey home-entry channel is composedof an elevator shaft, elevator changing platforms, horizontal corridors, new door holes, multi-storey residential building home-entry platforms and the like. The elevator shaft is a vertical runningchannel of the added elevator. The elevator changing platforms are platforms connected with the ends of newly-added stairs on the outer side of the multi-storey residential building and elevator doors. The horizontal corridors are corridors communicating with the elevator changing platforms and the home-entry platforms. The horizontal corridors are also corridors communicating with the stairs andthe home-entry platforms. The space of the detached stairs in the multi-storey residential building is sufficiently utilized, and the horizontal-storey home-entry channel is arranged. By means of thehorizontal-storey home-entry channel, the construction cost of the newly-established channel can be saved, the positions of home-entry doors of the multi-storey residential building and the use layoutof the multi-storey residential building are not changed, and the home-entry efficiency is improved. In addition, the problem that a large area of public land needs to be occupied by the added elevator is solved, and the horizontal-storey home-entry channel and the two home-entry methods are provided for the added elevator.
