The invention provides a solid-liquid separating mechanism for kitchen waste and a kitchen waste treatment machine. The solid-liquid separating mechanism for the kitchen waste comprises a squeezing cylinder, a squeezing piece, a motor and a filtering component; the squeezing cylinder is provided with a squeezing cavity, and a waste inlet, a waste outlet and a residue outlet which communicate withthe squeezing cavity; the squeezing piece is arranged in the squeezing cavity and moves spirally to crush the waste which is placed into the squeezing cavity from the waste inlet and extrude a liquidin the waste; the motor is connected with the squeezing piece and is used for driving the squeezing piece to move axially and spirally; the filtering component is used for separating the waste residuecrushed by the squeezing piece and the liquid extruded by the squeezing piece so as to drain the liquid to a sewage outlet and discharge the waste residue to the residue outlet. According to the solid-liquid separating mechanism for the kitchen waste, solid-liquid separation of the kitchen waste can be realized, which facilitates cleaning solid residue and liquid sewage in the kitchen waste respectively; and a more environment-friendly kitchen waste treatment mode can be realized. The kitchen waste treatment machine provided by the invention comprises the solid-liquid separating mechanism forthe kitchen waste.
