The invention discloses an urban inland river and lake water diversion isolation method. The urban inland river and lake water diversion isolation method comprises the following steps of firstly, arranging a diversion island in a lake, arranging an entering-lake artificial inland river connected with the lake on the lake, arranging an exiting-lake artificial inland river connected with the lake onthe lake, and enabling the diversion island to be arranged in an area between a lake inlet of the entering-lake artificial inland river and a lake outlet of the exiting-lake artificial inland river.An island head part of the diversion island is located on the inner side of the lake inlet of the entering-lake artificial inland river; when the quality of water entering the lake is excellent, it isensured that the water with the excellent quality enters the lake, and the quality of the water in the lake and the river water beside the island can be synchronously improved; when the quality of the water entering the lake is poorer, the water is directly drained from the rivers beside the island, so that the poor water is effectively prevented from entering the lake, and the water quality stability of the lake is ensured; and in the rainstorm and flood period, the lake water level can be lowered in advance, a lake water inlet gate can be closed, and initial rainwater is drained through therivers beside the island. The diversion island is a lake center island of the whole water body of the lake and the inland rivers, and the city grade can be improved through body type and landscape optimization design.
