The invention discloses a non-metal composite material pit and canal cover and a manufacturing method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, proportioning the following rawmaterials in percentage by weight: 30%-55% of white quartz sand, 15%-25% of powdery filler, 3%-6% of a fiber material, 3%-4% of a curing agent, 0.03%-0.04% of an accelerant and the balance of resin;S2, mixing an accelerant with the resin; S3, adding the curing agent, the fiber material, the white quartz sand and the powdery filler into the resin, and stirring; S4, putting the mixture obtained inS3 and the pultrusion grid framework into a mold; and S5, starting a vibration table to enable the mixture in the mold to be vibrated and formed, and then standing. The pultrusion grid is used as theframework, the problems of corrosion and uneven expansion among different materials do not need to be worried about, the framework does not need to be completely covered with the panel, the overall weight is greatly reduced while the strength is guaranteed, the vertically-arranged water through holes are more attractive, and installation of the corners of the ditch is more convenient.
