The pneumatic shield type gate comprises a gate body, wherein slideways are symmetrically arranged in the gate body, a gate is slidably arranged in the slideways, a protection box is arranged at the upper part of the gate body, a pneumatic driving mechanism is arranged in the protection box, the pneumatic driving mechanism is connected with a lifting shaft, and a fixing column is arranged in the gate body. According to the pneumatic shield type gate, a pneumatic driving motor is started, a pneumatic shaft rotates to further drive a first bevel gear to rotate, the first bevel gear is engaged with a second bevel gear, the second bevel gear rotates to further realize the rotation of the lifting shaft, the lifting shaft is provided with a threaded area, the threaded area is connected with a screw block in a threaded manner, the screw block moves in the threaded area, meanwhile, the gate is driven to slide in the slideways, and the opening and closing of the gate are adjusted stably.
