The invention provides a novel wallboard, and relates to the technical field of interior decoration. The novel wallboard comprises a first base plate, a second base plate, a third base plate and a wallboard body. The second base plate and the third base plate are arranged on the edges of the two opposite sides of the wallboard body correspondingly, the third base plate is arranged along the plateface of the wallboard body, the first base plate and the wallboard body are arranged in parallel in a spaced manner, the second base plate is connected between the first base plate and the wallboard body, and the first base plate is positioned at the end, away from the wallboard body, of the second base plate and extends towards the side away from the third base plate. Any one of the second base plate and the third base plate is provided with a matching block, and the other one of the second base plate and the third base plate is provided with a first matching groove used for being matched with the matching block. The first matching groove of one novel wallboard is used for being matched with the matching block of the other novel wallboard, and accordingly continuous installation of the novel wallboard is achieved. The novel wallboard is high in structural stability, environment-friendly, safe, reliable and suitable for interior decoration work under the new generation green standard.
