The invention relates to an aluminum oxide ceramic production process specifically comprising the following steps: 1) weighing the following raw materials in parts by weight: weighing 120-160 parts ofaluminum oxide powder, 30-40 parts of magnesium oxide, 20-24 parts of nano silicon dioxide, 10-12 parts of mica powder, 5-10 parts of a dispersing agent, 5-10 parts of a sintering aid, 1-2 parts of acrystal inhibitor, 5-10 parts of a plasticizer and 5-10 parts of a defoaming agent; 2) carrying out primary ball milling; 3) carrying out secondary ball milling; 4) carrying out spray granulation; 6)preparing a blank: performing isostatic cool pressing on an aluminum oxide ceramic prefabricated part to obtain an aluminum oxide ceramic blank; and 7) sintering: sintering the aluminum oxide ceramicblank in a tunnel kiln to obtain an aluminum oxide ceramic finished product. The method has the advantages that the process is simple, popularization is convenient, the method can be used for producing the aluminum oxide ceramic which is high in toughness and capable of meeting the practical requirement, the ceramic is high in bending resistance and good in fracture toughness, and the ceramic quality can be effectively improved.
