The invention discloses a detachable hoop type bridge supporting steel pipe connecting device and method. The device comprises a profile steel assembly and a plurality of hoop connecting mechanisms which are distributed on the bridge supporting steel pipe assembly at equal intervals in the height direction of the bridge supporting steel pipe assembly, and the array structure of a plurality of hoops in the hoop connecting mechanisms is the same as the array structure of the bridge supporting steel pipes; the method comprises the steps that 1, the installation position of the hoop connecting mechanism is determined; 2, a 2 * 2 array type hoop connecting mechanism is installed; 3, an M * N array type hoop connecting mechanism is installed; 4, the hoops in the same horizontal cell are connected; 5, every two adjacent hoop connecting mechanisms are connected; and 6, the profile steel assembly and the hoop connecting mechanism are dismounted. The bridge supporting steel pipe assembly is supported through the in-layer profile steel assemblies used for connecting the multiple hoops in the hoop connecting mechanisms and the interlayer profile steel assemblies used for connecting every two adjacent hoop connecting mechanisms, and the machining quality is guaranteed.
