The invention discloses steel plate concrete composite hollow floor slab and a construction method thereof. The steel plate concrete composite hollow floor slab comprises bottom steel slab, bottom steel plate concrete prefabricated slab, light filling bodies and a top concrete composite layer, wherein the bottom steel slab comprises a bottom steel plate (1), inclined reinforcing steel bars (2) andstuds (3); the bottom steel plate concrete prefabricated slab comprises a bottom steel plate, plate bottom concrete (6), rib beams (5) and top two-way reinforcing steel bars (7); the light filling bodies (4) are filled in grids of the inclined reinforcing steel bars (2); spacing between adjacent light filling bodies (4) is width of the rib beams (5); and the top concrete composite layer (8) covers the upper parts of the light filling bodies (4) and the upper parts of the rib beams (5). The composite hollow slab is strong in bearing ability, is small in section height, is small in dead load, is good in anti-seismic property, is especially suitable for a large-span slab structure, can reduce section height of a slab structure component, increases use head room, can be used for industrial prefabricated assembly type construction, is high in efficiency, is low in cost, and is good in economical efficiency.
