The invention provides a water feeding device for cattle and sheep breeding. The water feeding device comprises a supporting box; a water tank assembly is arranged in the supporting box and comprisesa central water disc, and four rectangular water tanks symmetrically communicate with the circumferential side surface of the central water disc; a connecting pipe is fixed to the top of the supporting box; a water storage assembly communicates to the top end of the connecting pipe; a valve assembly is arranged at the lower end of the connecting pipe and located on the supporting box; and a control assembly comprises a sliding rod, a protective cover, a first optoelectronic switch and a second optoelectronic switch, and the upper end and the lower end of the surface of the sliding rod are sleeved with a first floating ball and a second floating ball respectively. According to the water feeding device for cattle and sheep breeding, the control assembly is arranged to be matched with the valve assembly, and when the capacity of water in the water tank assembly is lower than one third of the capacity, the water can be automatically added to four fifths of the capacity, so that manual water adding and automatic water adding are not needed, water adding is more convenient, and the situation of water adding missing is avoided.
