The invention relates to the technical field of substation electrical safety, in particular to a substation equipment small animal prevention system based on ubiquitous power internet of things. The system comprises a plurality of sensing devices, a small animal invasion prevention device, a server and an intelligent terminal, wherein the plurality of sensing devices are distributed in a substation area; each sensing device comprises an infrared sensor, an MCU, a wireless communication module and a battery, the infrared sensor and the wireless communication module are both connected with the MCU, and the battery supplies power to the infrared sensor, the MCU and the wireless communication module; the small animal invasion prevention device is installed at a gate of a substation; each wireless communication module is connected with the intelligent terminal; and the intelligent terminal is in communication connection with the server. The system has the substantial effects that in an infrared and microwave double-triggering mode, the working reliability of a baffle is improved and the baffle can be effectively prevented from being mistakenly opened; and the distribution condition of small animals in a substation room can be detected through the sensing devices, so that a basis is provided for workers to actively prevent and control the small animals.
