The invention provides a deep foundation pit waterproof curtain leak detection method which comprises the following steps in specific: S1, dividing the detecting working area of a foundation pit waterproof curtain structure; S2, arranging basic equipment, and mounting in-well observation electrodes and out-well observation electrodes; and S3, carrying out detection, before and after rainfall, detecting and recording electrical resistivity between two adjacent in-well observation electrodes and between the in-well observation electrode and a corresponding out-well observation electrode, and comparing change of the electrical resistivity before and after rainfall. With adoption of the deep foundation pit waterproof curtain leak detection method, the leak point position of the waterproof curtain can be judged, so that the waterproof curtain is not damaged, and the engineering quality is improved; a measuring component does not need to be buried in advance, and detecting equipment can be repeatedly used to lower the construction cost; and the electrical resistivity of the waterproof curtain and soil are considered comprehensively to improve the detecting precision.
