The invention discloses a safe ecological ditch. The safe ecological ditch comprises a ditch body arranged side by side with a road surface, the ditch body comprises a ditch body formed in the road surface, side plates are arranged on the two sides of the ditch body respectively, a concrete layer is poured at the bottom of the ditch body, the two sides of the concrete layer are in butt joint withthe side plates respectively, a floating plate is installed between the two side plates, an elastic supporting piece is arranged between the bottom of the floating plate and the concrete layer, the floating plate is jacked up through the elastic supporting piece, and the floating plate is flush with the upper end faces of the two side plates when the ditch body is not used. According to the safe ecological ditch, although the ditch is an open ditch, the land space is not occupied, sludge is not accumulated at the bottom of the ditch body, the safety problem is avoided, and the ditch is safer to use during discharging.
