The invention discloses an anti-falling safe water grate. The anti-falling safe water grate comprises an outer rack, wherein two supporting plates are symmetrically fixed to the inner wall of the outer rack, a flow discharge mechanism is propped against the upper ends of the two supporting plates jointly and comprises two supporting frames, multiple equidistant cross beams are jointly connected with the two supporting frames, a telescopic structure is arranged on the inner wall of each cross beam and comprises a sliding groove formed in the side wall of the corresponding cross beam in a penetrating manner, and a closing plate is in sliding connection with the inner wall of each sliding groove. The anti-falling safe water grate has the advantages as follows: by means of the closing plates,the water grate can keep the closing state of the upper end when high water flow discharge is not needed, the condition of property loss due to the fact that articles falling from a pedestrian carelessly drop into the water grate from gaps of the cross beams and cannot be taken out or are inconveniently taken out can be effectively avoided, meanwhile, garbage can be prevented from being manually stuffed into the water grate through the gaps of the cross beams, blockage of the interior of the water grate due to human factors is prevented, and effective discharge capacity is maintained.
